If I didn’t live where I live and just looked at the following pictures, I would think to myself…………….wow, who would want to live there? Actually, I love where we live and for the most part, it is very pretty country. But today, it was very dismal looking with all the fog hanging just on the outskirts of the trees. I’m afraid that old man winter is starting to show his true colors.

I think every single wife who is forced to move to Mackay thinks "who would want to live here?" It takes a few years and smacking a few deer to really love the place, regardless of our dreary days.
