Eyed Hawk-Moth (Smerinthus Ocellata)
At the beginning of June, I went to visit a friend and when I approached her door, I noticed an Eyed Hawk-Moth. I've only seen this type of moth one other time and it was in the year 2015. We had a few of them that were on our screen door and our back yard swing.
I thought the contrast of the green door with the vintage style door knob plate and the moth was so beautiful that even though I had blogged about it before, I just couldn't resist taking more photos.
