Looking at this first picture I took on the mine hill bridge today, you would think that it was a nice, beautiful crisp day.
I’m thinking the weather was trying to deceive somebody cause it was anything but nice. The temperature this morning was 6 below zero and the highs for the day weren’t a whole lot better. It was a very cold and dismal day. You can see the cold, misty fog hovering all around the mountains that surround our little valley. Cold, cold, cold! As I was listening to the news earlier this evening, the weather man was predicting at least 13 below zero for tonight. What’s that old saying…..”Calgon, Take Me Away”…., or just until it warms up. Wouldn’t want to make it a permanent move cause I really do love our little valley.

It was 27 below at the calving barn on that cold, cold night. I just don't leave the house.
