Moon Splendor

Last night, somewhere around 8:45 p.m., the moon was absolutely beautiful.  And of course with my point and shoot camera, I have as yet to figure out how to get a nice picture of the moon.  I took many pictures of the moon surrounded by clouds, which gave me a double moon (not sure if it was window reflections, or just what it was).  I also took pictures of the moon by itself.  I know the photos aren't the best, but sometimes, not the best just has to be good enough......good enough that you can still see the moon in all it's splendor.

I think you did a great job, the moon shots are gorgeous! I Love this time of year, when the skies are clear, the nights are cool...and the moon's ever cooler!!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I wandered around yours for awhile and was looking at your garden from beginning to end post. I kept thinking....those mountains....hmmmm, that looks like home to me.

Sure enough your Brake for Breakfast flyer gave it away! YES! I love that beautiful valley. My fondest childhood memories were spent in Leslie at my grandparents farm. Both my parents are from Lost River.

Anyway. I love this small world.

Hi Marsha, thanks for the comment on my blog. I wandered around yours for a while and kept thinking...."those mountains look sooooo familiar" then when I read about your Brake for Breakfast...AH HA. Those are my mountains!!!

My parents were both raised out there in that beautiful valley and I still have aunts and uncles out there. My fondest memories are spending many happy hours in Leslie at my grandparents farm.

And by the way....the SWAG you got in your Break for Breakfast was awesome. So much better than ours.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I wandered around yours for a bit and realized you lived in the most beautiful place in Idaho. I have family out there and my mom and dad were both raised out there.

I have many fond memories of spending time at my grandma's farm in Leslie.

And by the way you totally made out with your Break for Breakfast SWAG!
