It wasn't long before the twin fawns moseyed their way over to our back yard. They played and played for a long time. My camera ran out of battery and by luck, my cousin was up visiting and he pulled out his phone and started videoing. He took 3-4 videos and I made sure he sent me copies. We watched them over and over again, laughing at how cute these little fawns were. I've seen deer play before, but nothing like this. So darn cute!

Fawns At Play
On Thursday, September 13, 2018, around 8am, a mamma deer and her two fawns were out by our garage eating a bit of greenery along the edge of the cement.

If you are like me, you'll will most likely watch these videos more than one time....for reals!
We were hoping that these two little darlings would come back the following day, but they never did. Although, we did have other deer that continued coming to our yard. It's a catch-22 situation. They come to the yard and eat my flowers but amazingly enough, they did not eat any flowers this year. And now, it is late enough in the year that if they do eat the flowers, it really wouldn't make any difference to me. I love watching them!

Thanks for sharing these cute videos of the Fawns. I love watching deer. My husband and took a trip to Monicello, Utah and went up in the Blud Mountains for a picnic. We took a a lot of photosof of the deer we found there. It is fun to watch them play. It’s fun to see a post from you.
Blessings and hugs!

Hey there!! So glad I happened upon your blog those baby fawns are so adorable. They're like a couple of kids running, jumping and playing in the back yard just like they live there. You truly live in a great area if you get that kind of wildlife and entertainment right in your own yard, how fun!!!
Take care,
Saimi
