A week before Father's Day, I was in Idaho Falls and I thought about Father's Day for the father's in our ward. I called the bishop and asked if anyone was doing anything for Father's Day and he stated that with all the busyness of the flooding in the valley that he had totally forgotten about Father's Day and asked if I would pick up some candy bar that we could hand out. I looked in a few stores but they didn't have enough of one kind that we could give out (In my head, I'm thinking all of one kind so we could attach a saying on each candy bar) so I headed over to Sam's Club, knowing they always supplied items in bulk. As I was standing in front of the different kinds of boxed candy, I was trying to think of sayings that would be fun to put on the candy bars. At the moment, I couldn't come up with anything so I decided to just buy Snickers. It's like....who doesn't enjoy Snickers.
After returning home, I got on the internet and started looking for clever, candy bar sayings and I finally came up with this one....tweaked a bit to fit the occasion. Since time was short, I decided not to make something to put on each candy bar and to just make two mini posters and stick them on the boxed candy bar lids.
I think they worked wonderful and to be honest, I don't think that men really pay too much attention to the fact that there may or may not be a sign attached to each and every candy bar. Sticking a poster on each box of candy bars worked for me!

You are so crreative! I loved that your ward did something for Father's. I don't think that happens here very much. I think they need to be recognize for being fathers like for Mother's Day! Blessings and hugs!
