Halloween Entryway Update

A little over a week ago, I did a post on my Halloween/Thanksgiving Pumpkin Goblets.  I’m still loving these goblets.  Last night I decided to change things up a bit.  I changed the scarf on my oak desk from brown hues to orange.  I took out the green beads and added Reese’s Pieces.  It amazed me how making just a few changes changed the entire look of my entryway.  Depending on the Holiday from September through November, I’m thinking I can make many changes using these goblets.  What a great find.  Besides the goblets, I’m just saying, that my Bombe Oak Chest was such a great find, too…………………….loving it!

Doe and Fawn

Tuesday, October 8, 2013, a mamma deer and her two, older fawns were standing by a fence just beyond our yard.  The two fawns did not stand by each other too often and I wasn’t able to get all three deer in the same photo.  In the picture, one fawn is looking over at the other fawn, who is standing over by our pine trees, mostly hidden by a wooden fence.

Beautiful Fall Drive……10-9-13

Yesterday I went out driving around because my husband had been out the previous day and said how pretty the trees were above the reservoir.  So I took my friend (camera) to see if there was anything I could take pictures of.  Well, as they say - A picture, or in this case……pictures are worth a thousand words!

Bull Moose in the Field

This bull moose, along with 2 cow moose were in our field this morning.  It wasn’t quite light enough to get good pictures and they were also on the other end of the field, making it hard to get a good focus.  They were also on the move so I just got a picture of the bull and opted to not bother with the cows.  I took five pictures and this is the only one that wasn’t too blurry to use.  Where it still wasn’t quite light enough to get a good picture, I lightened up the photo so you could get a better view.  They’ve been in our field all this week but always at the other end and just before the sun comes over the mountain so I went out this morning just to see if I could get a picture that would turn out.  Not the best photo but still……………..  Oh, and those black animals in the background – cows…just cows.
