Idaho Falls Temple and Ducks

Yesterday I went to Idaho Falls with a friend.  It's been some time since I have been there and while there, I purposefully drove by the Idaho Falls Temple so I could take some pictures.  It was so beautiful, but really cold so I actually didn't last too long taking pictures.  After taking a few shots, I hurriedly went back to the warmth of my vehicle.
Below are some photos of the temple, the frozen falls by the temple, and ducks.  I guess the ducks were getting some warmth from the asphalt roads and it was actually difficult driving and getting in and out of my vehicle.  They were not about to leave the road................

Where Did The Last Few Months Go

I just posted a blog a few days ago but I have actually taken quite a few pictures in the past few months that I haven't been posting.  Without writing a history of everything that has been going on, I'm just going to load a few (if I loaded them all, I would have a book) photos of what my life has been like with the people, places, and things I have been involved with and seen.  I have so many favorite pictures that it was very difficult to narrow it down to these photos, but...........................
Actually, some of these are not even my favorites but they depict more of what has been going on with my life.  The photos are in no particular order of events and a lot of these pictures have been loaded onto my Instagram account as well, so if you follow me at both places you will probably notice some repeats.......Sorry!

Beauty of the River

It's been so long since I've blogged, that I almost forgot where I needed to go to type up something.  I actually had to stop and think a minute about where my icon was even at.
Since I started posting photos on Instagram and finding how easy it is with just typing one sentence for the photo, it is hard getting back to writing.  My life has been crazy since March and Instagram has allowed me time to post photos without writing so much.
Hopefully, I can get back in the swing of things and start blogging again.  I contemplated going back and posting the months I missed but then I decided, nah, I would just start from where time is now, and go from there.
We'll see how I do, or not do................
Posted below are photos I took of the river on December 17th.  It was such a nice day that I couldn't resist going out and taking pictures.

Fawns At Play

On Thursday, September 13, 2018, around 8am, a mamma deer and her two fawns were out by our garage eating a bit of greenery along the edge of the cement.
It wasn't long before the twin fawns moseyed their way over to our back yard.  They played and played for a long time.  My camera ran out of battery and by luck, my cousin was up visiting and he pulled out his phone and started videoing.  He took 3-4 videos and I made sure he sent me copies.  We watched them over and over again, laughing at how cute these little fawns were.  I've seen deer play before, but nothing like this.  So darn cute!
If you are like me, you'll will most likely watch these videos more than one time....for reals!
We were hoping that these two little darlings would come back the following day, but they never did.  Although, we did have other deer that continued coming to our yard.  It's a catch-22 situation.  They come to the yard and eat my flowers but amazingly enough, they did not eat any flowers this year.  And now, it is late enough in the year that if they do eat the flowers, it really wouldn't make any difference to me.  I love watching them!
