Beautiful, Beautiful Mountains

Actually, I don’t have much of anything to write about today but I do have a few photos that say it all.  I took these photos while I was on my way back home from V.T.ing today.  The mountain photos are always breath taking to me.  No matter which direction I take a photo in our beautiful little valley, I most always get mountains in the background.  Beautiful, beautiful mountains.

Merry Christmas From Idaho

Merry Christmas.  Oh wait, it’s not Christmas……….unless you live in our little small town in Idaho.  Yesterday, as I was driving down the main highway that runs through our little town, I had to chuckle to myself that there are still Christmas decorations on all the poles that run right along the main highway.  I wonder what travelers think as they pass through our little town and see that we still have our Christmas decoration up.  When you look at the pictures I’ve taken, don’t just focus on the forefront picture, look past that and you can see decoration lined up as far as you can see.  Is this just too funny, or what.  I love small towns.

Valentine Surprise

During one of my many adventures searching the internet, I came across the cutest idea for a Valentine surprise for my hubby.  I saw a picture where a lady put paper hearts on her husbands side of the bed.  I thought the idea was FUN so I decided to go with it and decorate for my husband.  First I went to the Western Store (local store) and picked up some “sorta” red poster paper.  I took it to work where we have a device that cuts out different shapes.  After working hours, I took my poster paper and went to work, cutting out my hearts.  I hurried home and put my hearts, candy and a card on my husbands side of the bed…even filling up the foot of the bed, before he got home from his work.  He was totally surprised when he turned down his side of the bed that evening.  What a cute idea…..this could be done for other holidays, too.

Valentine…..You Light Up My Life

I got the idea from other blogs about using the saying..Valentine, You Light Up My Life. I loved it so off to work I went on creating a Valentine for the Kinder’s (Kindergarten Class). I went with the theme I had found on the internet and then I went looking for a light bulb. I found the perfect light on the internet that did not contain any copyright markings so I was off and running. Then I headed to WalMart to get some glowsticks. I really like how they turned out and I think the Kinders will like them too. Plus, there is an attachment that comes with the glowsticks that will enable the Kinders to turn their glowsticks into bracelets. The glowstick is much prettier than it showed up in the picture but it gives you an idea of how my Valentines turned out.
